Having migraine is a huge problem when your a caffine lover. Recently I switched to decaf to satify my erge and was swiftly disappointed. But, to my suprise my reign with coffee wasn’t over. One morning, on my way into school I stop at Panera Bread for breakfast and decided to try their decaf. Mmmm….delicious and now I’m hooked. I continue to spread the word about my luck but could there be something better?

Believe it or not. McDonalds has the best coffee. It has been proven from tests. I personally like the ice coffee, but there hot coffee is good too.

My advice for the best coffee, would be to stay away from corporate restaurants, and coffee shops. Find a small independent SPECIALTY coffee shop in your area whose owners look at coffee as a passion, not a drink.
Get to know the owners, and see if they can teach you more about coffee from a taste perspective.
The coffee industry, much like the wine industry, holds “tastings”, called “cuppings”. Get to know your local specialty coffee shop owners, and see if they would teach you about different coffee varieties, and origins. Some of the flavors and aromatics in coffee (there are over 30 of them), and see not only what coffee you like, but where it is grown, how it is roasted, and what subtleties you can taste, and smell in the coffee.
You will find that coffee done right, isn’t about what corporation you bought your “cup of Joe” from, but more about how that coffee made it to your cup, and what it really contains from a taste perspective.

Panera has excellent coffee. I like Tim Hortons- their regular coffee is great, but their decaf isn’t too good. Oddly enough, Dunkin Donuts coffee is OK, but I’ve never had their decaf.
Small local coffee shops have the best tasting coffee (which is still worse than homemade made from freshly ground beans). However, they have the disadvantage (or the advantage) of not having drive-troughs. Sometimes a girl just needs to have her coffee in the car on the way to work.

Well the best coffee besides the coffee you do at home (always fresh which is key to a good cup of coffee) would have to be White Castle….
