Coffee Talk

I started drinking coffee about 6 months ago (1 cup/day), and I have recently noticed that my teeth are not as white as they used to be. I use whitening toothpaste and gum almost everyday, and I even try to brush after the coffee in the morning. What else can I try without breaking the bank?

Someone recently asked a question about using hydrogen peroxide on their teeth–my answer is floating around somewhere! Anyhoo. I had a friend who was a dental hygienist
& she used a paste of hydrogen peroxide & baking soda. If you just “rinse” with the peroxide, you won’t get the abrasive action you need. You’ll definitely save money–all those teeth whiteners cost an arm & a leg. I just won’t use this because I don’t like the
    taste! So make a paste!

brush with just baking soda it really works, doesnt taste the best but it does the job. do it right after you drink coffee you will see a big difference.

2-4 times a week (daily, if necessary), moisten your brush in water, then dip into a 50/50 mix of salt and bicarbonate of soda. Brush your teeth, vigorously.
You can pre-mix a small amount an keep it in a pill bottle.

Rinse with hydrogen peroxide. It worked great for me. Trust me I have tried everything to whiten my teeth ( I drink a pot or more of coffee a day, and I smoke) and I found awesome results using the peroxide rinse. It may not taste all that good but if you use your whitening tooth past right after it will get rid of the after taste. Good Luck
