Is it possible to buy coffee at the supermarket and make a great tasting cup of black coffee?
If so, what brand, what brewing recipe/method/maker and how do you store it?

If you are in Canada then Superstore has great coffee called “The Great Canadian” blend.
I used to have a normal drip coffee maker but switched to an electric perculator (Wal-Mart) about a year ago. I don’t know why but the coffee tastes much better…and many people have commented on how tasty it is compared to other coffee makers.

My opinion is that Comunity Coffee and Sanka’s coffee are rather awesome.

i am not the biggest coffee drinker, but the best coffee i ever bought from a supermarket (wal-mart) was a chocolate rasberry flavor. it came in a small bag for $1.00 (it also came in larger sized bags). left it in bag…cheap coffee maker…no special method of brewing…unknown brand.

Kona, from Hawaii. It has always made a great cup of coffee for me. All of it’s different blends and flavors make a quality cup of coffee.
I buy it already ground, and put one Tablespoon in per 2 cups of water. Sometimes a little more if I’m looking for a dark, potent cup in the morning.
