Coffee Talk

Hey =)
SO I just got my first coffee pot. And I been noticing that no matter how clean I think I am getting it. ITs still moist in there. Which leads me to believe that there has to be bacteria growing or there will be soon. How do u guys clean ur coffee pot?? Or coffee maker I should say. Thanks so much.

    I use *white* vinegar.
    Fill your pot half full,pour in the reserve.let sit for about 15min.
    Run the vinegar through a cycle.Let cool,then run through again.Add water to fill pot(cooled pot).run once again.Dump the vinegar water and run about 5-6 pots of plain water.Then I will use a paper towel to wipe what I can reach inside the pot.Run one more pot of plain water(I do this once a month).Your all done.This will break down all the lime deposit caused by the water sediment.You will definitely tell a difference taste in the coffee.If your concerned about the moisture when the pots not in use,just leave the reservoir lid open when not in use.
