Coffee Talk

I’ve been to Australia several times on business and will be going there again in a couple of weeks. I’ve never figured out your coffee lingo yet. If I wanted to order coffee (not espresso, not cappucinno…just coffee) with cream, what would I say? Is that a short white????

Flat white is what you are after - if you order that - I’m sure you’ll be happy with what you get - however you can choose to have skinny or full cream milk - if you want skinny milk - you have to ask for it - so a Flat white with skinny milk - if you ask for just a Flat White - you’ll get it made with full cream milk.

If you want a regular white coffee you need to ask for a “flat white”. Hope that helps.
