I asked an employee and she really wasn’t sure, but came up with a response saying the latte had cream in it. They both taste the same, and the iced coffee must have cream too as it turns a creamy color (unless the syrup does this). The latte is also more expensive. What is actually in each drink?

Iced coffee is a double brewed batch of coffee (i.e. extra strong) put in the fridge to obtain the cold. If they are adding cream without you asking in this drink, then you need a better barista. Iced latte (latte being espresso shots in milk/cream) is a cold milk with shots of espresso in it over ice. To clarify both drinks are over ice, but only one should automatically come with milk.

An iced latte is made with one or two shots of espresso (made from espresso beans) and then filled to the top with milk. Iced coffee is just coffee (made from coffee beans) with some milk added. Iced coffee has less calories because there’s less milk.
