go to ikea they sell a small battery powered whisk and it is excellent for making a frothy coffee!!this is my way: fill a mug 3/4 full of milk and put it to heat in microwave.make up a small amount of coffee with hot water and when the milk is heated use the whisk to froth the milk then add coffee to the milkand its the same as a cappucino or a latte!!

You can get a separate frother for the milk …… But, you would be putting it on cappucino or lattes, and there should be a frother on your espresso machine. If you don’t have a decent espresso machine, then you aren’t going to have “nice” coffee………

Use a whisk in a glass and it will froth up in less than a minute. Skim milk makes a stiffer froth than whole milk. You can also use an electric whisk if you have one. If you don’t have a whisk, try a fork. It will take longer, but usually works.

You could do it the makeshift way and shake the milk container a few times before adding it, that gives it a froth.

Put it in a small pot or bottle and shake hard.
Or buy one of those battery powered whizzers.
