I have become a coffee addict (ha,ha)….
I have a “Mr. Coffee” maker and i hate it!!
it makes my coffee bitter and burnt.
I have started buying “Mcdonalds” coffee and i wanted to
buy a maker that makes my coffee taste as good as theirs.
I hope somebody knows what i mean ..like all you other coffee addicts

Ah HA!! Try this: a percolator. They’re the best. They cook the coffee while a dripper makes coffee tea. The percolator brings out the bouquet of the coffee and gives it nose. It’s delicious. AND — percolators last. I’ve had mine for 16 years.

If you are serious about your coffee you might want to look at a Technivorm coffee maker. I just purchased one and I really like it. It brews coffee by heating water to the proper temperature of 200 degrees F. They are hand made in Holland.
Most mass produced coffee makers like Mr Coffee and Black & Decker brewers only heat the water to around 185 to 190 degrees F.

Hmm…I think it could be a case of combination of variables that makes McD coffee better tasting to you. In fact, I ever saw someone highlighting that their best coffee is from a vending machine:http://www.oncoffeemakers.com/who-am-i-t…
So, environment plays an important part in giving you that best coffee.
All coffee makers have some thing that others do not have, the question is what are you looking for? Cost, functions, ease of use or taste profile is very important.
Determine that prior to the coffee maker search and I assure you that you would find something you loves…:)

It is probably your water, or you are not cleaning the hole where the water and/or coffee goes through.

Are you sure that it’s the coffee maker that’s to blame?
Maybe you’re just buying real BAD coffee!! (must be if it is worse than McDonald’s “Tasty” coffee)
Grind your coffee beans everyday… don’t buy pre-ground coffee. Clean your Mr. Coffee… or even better, go buy a hot water pot and a French Press.
I think you’ll find a big improvement!!!!
