coffee is a stimulant, it increases your blood pressure i think, and just gives your system a boost, makes you feel better. but it isnt good for you as it contains caffeine, a drug, which can make you addicted to it, and dependent on it if you turn to it whenever you are stressed.
it helps you concentrate, so people tend to drink it during exam period, etc.
yes it does sober you up, thats why people say to drink it in the morning after alcohol, as far as i know
    hope this helps
    =)

I believe I read that the coffee/sobriety thing is not true. I know it has health benefits, but as with anything else, is not good for you in large amounts (a cup a day is good).
    Thats all I know, sorry!

yes but ask yourself what taste we have,
    Sweet - Sour - Bitter
i think that is it, then our brain mixes em up

It makes you blend in with the poor spellers who pay $32.00 a gallon for a temporary stimulant that stains teeth, harms the throat and squanders future nerve-energy.
