McDonalds actually beat out Starbucks in a poll not to long ago so depending on preferences there may be a lot of unique answers. If you were going to do a top 5 or 10 and a bottom worst 5 or 10 coffee establishments how and why would you rate them as you did?

It wouldn’t really matter because all of my top 10 5 bests are independent local to Vancouver.

I really don’t like Starbucks coffee. And most restaurants have terrible coffee (it tastes more like flavored water) like Three Flames and Bakers Square. The best coffee I’ve had is actually made by my aunt at home. She makes it really dark and strong, full of body and flavor. I’ve had really good coffee from Hawaii too.

I’ve had coffee at 5 or more different establishments and to be honest, I can’t tell the difference between any of them, so I can’t really rate them. But I hate Starbucks coffee because at the price, the taste isn’t anything different than that of Sheetz or Speedway..so I would rather pay 89 cents over 4 dollars for a cup of coffee. lol

Recently I went to Denny’s with a friend that use to work there and she ordered a French Vanilla Cappuchino with ice in the cup and it was actually much better then some of Starbucks iced coffees.

I don’t drink coffee, so I guess I can’t judge, but Starbucks has a Frozen Strawberries and Cream Frappacino that’s to die for…..

I absolutely love the coffee roasted by Idaho Roasting Company. It is not bitter at all because they only use freshly roasted coffee beans unlike most establishments. There are a lot of other local shops here that I enjoy too like dawson taylor and moxie java but Idaho Roasting is by far the best and they deliver fresh roasted beans.

I am completely addicted to Tim Horton’s, can’t get through the day without a couple cups. Best coffee on the planet. I rate them a (10),
Starbucks (2) and McDonald’s (4) don’t get close, 7-11 (6) beats both. Actually I rate White Castle’s coffee (7) up there with Dunkin Donuts (8). Since I rarely go anywhere other than Tim Horton’s for coffee I will end my list where I started, the only 10 was Tim Horton’s.
