Coffee Talk

Hello,
I’ve been fairly overweight for a while and have recently decided to do something about it. I have a problem with hunger cravings, so what I do is skip breakfast and lunch and drink lots of coffee to suppress my hunger until dinner (about 8-10 cups).
I’ve lost quite a bit of weight already, but I wonder if there are any negative side effects that this can cause. I haven’t really noticed anything yet, mind you.
Thanks.

The amount of caffeine you’re drinking might not be good for you. You should not skip breakfast, focus on getting a nutritious meal (fruit works well).
A coffee diet is not necessary, and quitting your eating habits isn’t either. What I usually suggest is moderate your eating habits and focus on eating healthier food (although I’m not asking you to quit eating delicious food such as steak, just in moderation). Walking works wonders, and if you have a store that is at a walking distance (far enough so you could consider it an exercise), then take a stroll down there and buy a fruit, and walk back home.
I personally have a football field up around a kilometre away from my house, and an overweight friend of mine decided once to take daily walks up there, and I joined. Not only did he lose weight, his stamina has improved and so has his will to continue doing exercises.
