Coffee Talk

I’m trying to stay away from fatty and sugary flavored creamers. Right now I put in a dash of cinnamon and just enough non-fat milk to lighten the color. I read that putting some orange peels in the coffee grounds while brewing makes for an interesting flavor, but I haven’t tried it yet. Anyone else do anything interesting?

I was surprised to see a fat-free half-and-half at the store — not sure what its half of but I think it adds something more to the coffee than non-fat or even 1% milk. You could shake it up with sweetener, vanilla, and cinnamon . . .

Vanilla extract and powder are nice touches. A tsp. of sugar-free maple syrup & skim milk is also a smooth addition to a cup of joe.
