We bought this coffee pot from Sears about a month ago. And absolutely loved it. The beep every 15 minutes is mildly annoying (wish there was a way to turn it off) but it’s not a big deal, I just ignore it.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed a puddle of water across my counter - but we thought we had just overfilled the pot a bit. However, this has begun happening every few times we make coffee - it’s not consistent and it’s only a cup or two but it makes a huge mess. After the last leak, I checked the coffee maker over carefully and when I picked it up, water drizzled out of the vent on the bottom of the maker.
Luckily, I had read mixed reviews before we bought the pot so we had also purchased the warranty plan at Sears. We’re going to exchange it and see how the next one works out. I’ll try to update in a few weeks!
