How To Stay Awake Without Relying On Coffee?

Coffee Talk

I have recently started a new job with different working hours and a 2 hr commute each way. I find myself getting quite tired in the afternoon and would like to relieve this without relying on coffee. I have been drinking Lucozade sport and eating fruit.
I also try to go to bed fairly early. Any other suggestions?

You can try tea which has less caffiene than coffee but should still help keep you awake. Other than that just sleep will help you stay awake. When you feel tire, get up stretch go for a short walk. That will help you a bit.

    Try drinking green tea.
    1) its good for you
    2) it has caffeine (not too much)
    3) it keeps you awake
+ try exercising, as you exercise your body releases chemicals, which then keep you awake.

This may sound strange but you might want to try driving home with your shoes off. I just heard about this myself and it worked when I tried it. Although I know that in some states it is illegal. Basically I think it’s just something different that takes you away from your normal routine.

The only thing that realy helps me stay awake other than coffee is exercise. That doesn’t sound like it is possible for you unless you can somehow do cardio in your car ;) If you have the time to exercise regularly I would try that, it boosts your energy level immensely after a week or so I’d say.
