Coffee Talk

I have a 12 cup coffee maker and I am using Maxwell House it says to use 1/2 of coffee but when I do it’s to strong and I try less and it tastes weak. Everyone I ask says use 2 tablespoons per cup. How do you make your coffee?

First off… ditch the Maxwell House. Then get a coffee grinder and after that get some of the dunkin donuts breakfast blend BEANS and grind your own to taste. More detailed instructions available just ask me.

Use the starbucks holiday blend and put one tablespoon per cup. You don’t always have to make all 12 cups. And try splenda if you’re afraid of sugar. And add about 2 ounces of nonfat milk per cup of coffee.

Hi, you mentioned using 2 tablespoon, but how much water? If it is 6 ounces of hot water then it should taste just right.
Noticed that I use right, because it is difficult to get great coffee from maxwell house.

Ditch the maxwell house! Why drink mud by choice?! Get yourself a coffee grinder. If there’s one near you, go to your local Trader Joes, and depending on what kind of coffee you like (light, dark, etc.), sample their wares until you find what you like. Their House and French blends are both great :)

BBQguide is right - grind your own and it will be way better than Maxwell House, or Folgers, or pretty much any other mass produced product.
