I guess you are talking about the back of the coffee machine where you fill it with the 10 cups of water to make the coffee?
Put enough cold water in so the worm is covered. Let it soak for a few hours. Then take a small brush or use something to scrape him out of there.
After that you can take your brush and soapy water and wash down the area and rinse it thoroughly.
After he is gone you can make a solution of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water and pour it in the part where the worm was to sanitize it.
I would dump that out then rinse. Then I would take 1 part bleach to 20 parts water and refill the container and run it through the machine as if you are making coffee.
Then rinse the machine and run plain water through the machine 2 more times and you are done.

try running vinager through it, if that doesnt work, i suggest tossing the coffeemaker and buying a new one

buy a new coffee maker and clean it regularly so that you wont find any more maggots in it.

I am sorry I would not drink any coffee or tea from a machine that contained maggots or worms in it. The added flavor would not be to my liking and just the thought makes me want to loose my stomach. Either by a new coffee pot @ Walmart under $10.00 or drink instant. I

I would go buy a new one. Think about how gross it is I think it would be more healthier to trash it.

hold it upside down and try spraying it out with your sink nozzle. You might even want to fill up the reservoir and take it out with a spoon.

Oh, my goodness - grossness extreme *hurl*! Honestly, I’d consider throwing the whole thing out myself, but if it was just one little maggot, try using bleach to rinse it out. If it’s anywhere around the electronic part and can’t be wet, than I’d consider using compressed air to blow it out. I mean even then, how are you sure there aren’t anymore. You could always wait it out, if the maggot larvae is alive it will eventually blossom into adulthood and vacate the premises, ha ha.
    Again, I’m gagging over here!
