How Often Should I Give My Sunflowers Coffee?

we have sunflowers that my daughters and I have planted in a little pot. they are growing pretty good witch amazes me because I kill green things usually. well anyway, I heard that coffee is great for plants so ive been putting some in their water is this ok? if so how often should I do this and how much should I delute it? any outher suggestions on sunflowers are very welcome. thank you.

    only when they look sleepy. they can get addicted.
    kidding. coffee is acidic and can affect the pH of the soil they are growing in.. If you put a little bit, (1/4 cup) in a gallon of water, you should be fine to use that at every watering.

    I’ve put leftover coffee on my plants for years. I do it in place of the weekly watering, and have never had problems. Oh, and I go every third week with it, so once a month shouldn’t hurt.
