It is usually 1 Tbsp for every two cups, so that would make it 6 Tbsp of coffee for the 12 cups. You should do a trial pot before though, because it all comes down to your own preference and the type of coffee that you are using…good luck on your party tonight! :)

Scoops come in all kinds of sizes. It is supposed to be a tablespoon per cup. A scoop from melitta is exactly that if you can get your hands on one. It also depends on how strong you like your coffee.

Use 3 scoops for 12 cups or 1 scoop for 4 cups. I make 8 cups each morning and use 2 scoops. You may wont it weaker or stronger, but I find 1 scoop for 4 cups suites me.

It depends on the size of your scoop.
Most professionals say two tablespoons per cup is the correct amount.

well I like normal strength, so I use about 2 scoops of coffee. The scoop that comes inside the cans of ice tea mix, about that size is what I am referring to. Some like it a little on the stronger side, so you could use a little more to suit all tastes. Have fun and hope all goes well for you!
