I know coffee dehydrates the body but when to say when? If you use cream and sugar, can you drink more than when it’s black? Or is just black better?

As long as you’re drinking plenty of water (drinking more when you drink more coffee - so say 8 glasses of water when you have no coffee, 9 glasses if you have 1 cup, 10 if you have 2, etc.) then you’re fine as long as the caffeine doesn’t affect you adversely.
A friend of mine would drink so much coffee a day that he had heart palpitations. He finally was ordered to quit the caffeine by his physician. He was 22 at the time. It wasn’t pretty.

For me i can never drink more than 2 cups.

for me it’s 15 cups- I get really jittery after the 14th or the 15th cup. However, I normally drink 7-8 cups a day, so I’m inured to caffeine.
For most people it’s 2-3 cups. A single cup is enough to reap all the benefits of coffee (the antioxidants, and the improved memory and concentration), and 2 are enough to keep you focused throughout the day without disturbing your sleep schedule. Anything more raises your blood pressure, stains your teeth, and disturbs your sleep schedule. Make sure you drink an extra glass of water for every cup of coffee you drink.
Cream and sugar dilute the coffee, so you could drink a little bit more, if you’re concerned about caffeine. However, they have calories, so you should be careful- a teaspoon of sugar (1 pack) has 20 kcal, and a splash of cream about 20, so it adds up very quickly. Some people get heartburn if they mix dairy and coffee, so don’t OD.
