Coffee Talk

At room temperature, it lies in the coffee maker. How long can I let it lie before I have to throw it out?

about a day tops. It becomes stale long before that.

Well, coffee doesn’t become “unsafe”, but when left at room temperature it will grow mold around the surface of the coffee. If you place it in a pitcher in the refrigerator, it will prevent the mold and you can just zap a cup in your microwave for a minute when you want some. Personally, I kinda like iced coffee, too.
I bought a Tassimo (single-cup) coffee maker so I wouldn’t have to do any of that anymore.
