You want to use Coarse ground coffee (you can use drip ground if you have to but coarse is better)
Add the amoutn of coffee you like. depends on Size of carafe, and how you like your coffee. For mine I use just over 5 sccops.
In a kettle bring your water to a boil, then pour the water into the carafe with the coffee. Wait a minute then stir to make sure all of the grounds are immersed. After aother 5 minutes use the plunger and press the grounds to the bottom of the carafe. And then enjoy.
