Coffee Talk

We ran out of instant coffee. All we have left is regular coffee. We do no have a coffee maker for some weird reason. Is there a way I can still have a cup of joe? :-(

You can put water in a pot and add the coffee to it and bring it to a boil and then let it sit a couple of minutes. Then pour it through a filter into a cup.
It’s a wise idea to get a Bodem (a glass cylindercal device that has a plunger in it) You can make one or two cups of coffee in it. You put the coffee in and pour boiling water over it and stir it. You then put the top on with the plunger and let it sit for a couple of minutes. When you are ready to pour it push the plunger down to the bottom and then pour your coffee. The plunger section already has a filter built in.
I use this on a daily basis as I am only making one cup at a time and the coffee tastes great. I only use my coffee maker when I have guests.
    Good luck,

To make coffee, you need hot water, coffee, and some filtering device. What I did when my coffee maker was broken and I wanted a cup was to boil a pot of water on the stove, add coffee, wait for the coffee grounds to settle, and carefully pour off the liquid leaving the grounds in the pot. Not the cleanest way to make coffee but it works.
