Coffee Talk

I have wooden stairs and they aren’t finished with anything. My sister dropped coffee on them and it stained the stairs. Apparently the wood absorbed it. Is there any way this can be removed?

You can try a little bit of bleach water solution if it is a light wood floor. If it will come out it will take a large amount of elbow grease and you may have to sand it out. If you do get the stain out I recommend sealing the wood to prevent any other stains.
    Good luck

    For the future, here’s a pro-active tip:
we use Abzorb mats all over the place: hi-traffic areas, pet areas, stairs, etc. If you get a roll, you can cut to fit.
Don’t know specs and all, but here’s where we order online:http://www.cleanupstuff.com/garage-floor…
    (cheap!) get mats or rolls.

Try putting baking soda on it and see if it absorbs any of it. Good Luck.
