The De’Longhi DC50W Twenty Four Seven Drip Coffee Maker features a shower head design that helps to extract your coffee’s full, natural flavor by allowing water to completely saturate all coffee grounds, and it’s pause and serve function allows you to interrupt the brewing cycle and pour a cup of coffee. It’s push button control makes it easy to use and the easy-access filter basket with permanent washable filter makes removing the filter a snap.

Unsafe!!
While this coffee maker makes a good cup of coffee, it has no automatic turnoff. As a result, if you forget to turn the heating element off before you leave the house, your best…

This is an adorable little coffee maker, makes delicious coffee. Love the “brew pause” feature. But it always makes a complete mess on my counter, both when pouring water in and pouring coffee, therefore I can only give 3 stars. I came on Amazon today to find another 4 cup coffee maker that does NOT spill coffee all over my counter when I go to pour it. When I saw this on here, I decided I ought to write a review and warn those poor souls who might be tempted to order one. I give 5 stars for cuteness factor but just 1 star for practicality. Therefore, a total of 3 stars. Buyer beware.

Initially, I liked this coffee maker well enough. The reuseable filter is a plus, and the coffee tastes good. But two characteristics make this one a loser:
1. The coffee gets way too hot if it sits on the warmer longer than 20 minutes; and more importantly,
2. The removable lever that allows the pause and serve feature to work is unreliable. It occasionally gets stuck and blocks the opening so that when brewing a new pot, all the water collects and stays in the basket (until you manually fix the lever). The thing easily pops off, and drives me CRAZY.
I would not buy another DeLonghi coffeemaker.

Fine, Fast, Hot, Small
This fine looking little device is the second Delonghi 4-cup coffee maker that I have owned. The first had the dewar flask carafe and no warmer and the coffee wasn’t really hot…

Too Hot
I would not recommend buying this coffee maker. Getting the water into the reservoir is a clumsy feat at best.

As the previous reviewer stated, I was also initially impressed with this coffee maker: it makes a decent cup of coffee. However, two things about this coffee maker are quite annoying, so much so that if I had kept my receipt and the box, this would be going back to the store. 1. If the grind of the beans is too fine, the water backs up in the filter after the brew should be completed. 2. The carafe will spill coffee all over your counter top about every time you go to pour a cup, unless you use your thumb to hold down the plastic lid and then you can easily burn yourself from the steam. My advice: avoid this coffee maker.

makes good coffee
this coffeemaker makes very good coffee but i wish the design was better - the gadget that makes the coffee stop and release just hangs in the back and if you hit it the wrong way…

Good coffee if you can get the basket back in to make it
This coffee maker is a frustrating piece of high priced junk. It has a basket that is to be removed to dump your filter, but god help you if you do.

Makes great coffee, if you can get to the basket.
Initially, I loved this coffee maker, it was so easy to use. After a few months of using it, I find the swing-open unit, that holds the grinds basket, gets stuck after you close…

This coffeemaker is what it is, and it’s a bargain.
This coffeemaker is, first and last, a bargain. For the person who drinks two cups or less a day, this is a dependable coffeemaker that won’t take up the space of a family-sized…
