I already know the obvious, ramen, mac & cheese, vegetables, oatmeal, soup, pasta, rice, hot cocoa.. coffee obviously, I heard that you can make pancakes on the warmer part, but I’ve looked all through what Mr. Google says and can find very little information on the topic. Does anyone else know what you can make? And I know i could just get a hotplate, but I’m moving around and want to find that one small appliance that can do anything, and I believe the coffee maker is it!

I still think a small hot plate would be better. You can still make coffee but you can control the heating temp and it gets hotter so you can cook meats and basically make any one pot recipe. There are several nice, cheap single burner hot plates out there that would even take less room in packing/moving.

You can heat water for cocoa or ramen. But the other foods you’re describing are best cooked on a hot plate if a stove is not available. Coffee makers are not intended for anything other than heating water and coffee. The reason you can’t find any info is because the majority of people are smart enough to cook with the appropriate appliances.
