I’m using the correct coffee filter and everything. Only a very little bit of coffee gets into my coffee cup, but all the same I want to know how to make it stop. Please help.

Unfortunately you don’t mention what brewing method and what filter you are using.
Anyway, in general you have two ways to reduce the grinds in your coffee:
1. Use a filter that does not let the grinds through. In general, most permanent filters (like gold, titanium etc.) do have a problem with keeping the fine grounds out of the coffee. Paper filters should be fine in most cases (unless they are not put correctly in place).
2. Don’t change the filter, but change the grind of your coffee instead. You need to grind the coffee in such a way that it does not have many fine particles in it. The best is to use a burr grinder rather than a blade grinder.
If you want to have coffee free of any sediment then I would recommend the Chemex coffee maker - it uses special Chemex paper coffee filters that are very good in keeping the coffee grains out.

dont know why this is happening if you are doing everything right. use double coffee filters. if that doesnt work use three at a time this should help

if you buy the whole bean coffee, try grinding for less time
if you are buying ground coffee, then try a different filter. There are many brands to choose from. You might have a cheapo brand
