  1. Basil Says:

Sometimes we need to be reminded to stop and smell the coffee. Chuck Martin’s book suggests slowing from an often frenetic pace to assess life’s challenges can provide calm and clarity. This book is fun and not preachy. This is a quick and enjoyable read that will leave you with enough time for another latte.

  2. Edge Says:

NFI Research Chairman and CEO Chuck Martin presents Coffee at Luna’s: A Business Fable, a self-help guide written in a unique modern parable style. It offers very simple secrets to self-improvement and happiness in one’s work life: learning to stop and take a measured assessment of what is going on, observing and listening for information that will help one make decisions, and apply that knowledge to change things for the better. The narrative style follows an ordinary manager who is working as hard as he can to keep his business branch solvent - but the harder he works, and the more hours he sinks into the job, the more remote his financial goals seem. Company morale is in defeat, what is he to do? Meeting with a wise teacher, he accepts the wisdom of learning to disconnect from the pressure of the grind and look around at what is truly going on. An entertaining, enjoyable, and valuable self-help guide offering keen insight to properly balancing work-related responsibilities and relationships for greater happiness both at business and in one’s personal life.
