Okay, so tomorrow i am going to my friends house and my friends and I are going to be in the kitchen all day. I told them i wanted to try the souffle recipe, but neither of us have ramekins! so here I am drinking a cup of coffee, and I realized “could Coffee Mugs work?!” please respond asap :D

    They will need to be heat proof.
    You could try placing a tea towel in a roasting pan for your mugs to sit on and diffuse the heat with the water.
    Pottery mug would be ideal.

    More than likely no, the temperature that you have to bake the souffle at and the amount of time will cause the coffee mug to break in the oven. You need a souffle dish/ramekin or anything ceramic that can be baked at high temperatures. Plus you don’t want it to break because you will need to throw away the food since the glass is a physical contaminant.

    I disagree with the previous answer.
    It will depend on the material, if it is made from a ceramic material such as earthenware or stoneware, you should not have any problem.
