Can One Make Coffee Without A Power Outlet Or Cigarette Lighter From A Car?

Coffee Talk

Unfortunately, I’m a high school coffee addict. During the year I don’t want to have to pay 3 bucks for a cup of coffee at the nearby Starbucks so I decided to try to find a way to brew coffee in my locker. Yes, I know it sounds weird, but i’m cheap. So, does anyone know of a battery powered coffee maker on the market or a regular coffee maker that could plug into somesort of battery powered power outlet, one that would have to be recharged? Or can anyone think of any other solutions? Thanks

Why are you not taking a small camping gas cooker with a gas patron ? You can cook a lot of coffee with them. The other way you need a very large battery. If you have access to mains, why don’t you take an immersion heater? There are very small ones just for a cup of coffee.

That’s extremely dangerous to have anything hot in your locker. Don’t be another annoying high school kid obsessed with coffee. Stick with water.

Not sure of battery powered or rechargeable coffee makers. You can look around at outdoors stores and try to find like a camping section that might have something. Here are a few alternatives.
French press…Just pour in your hot water and press out your coffee….works great, but you need hot water.
Instant coffee….Not the best flavor, but it works in a pinch.
Bring your own from home in a thermos or something similar.
Try iced coffee….sometimes this will cure my fix.
Gas stations usually have decent coffee for 99 cents, might be a cheaper alternative to Starbucks…
    Hope this helps! :-)
