Although no one has ever made coffee in my family, just tea, I found a canister of Maxwell House. We don’t have a coffee maker, so can I just boil the ground coffee beans in a pot and then drain the beans out?
What exactly does a coffee maker do?

you have a pretty face so i will offer thanks in the form of how to make coffee without a maker for it.as directions will tell you one tea spoon per cup.use a strong napkin folded over or a coffee filter if you have one.cup of hot water.then use the coffee in the napkin just like making tea.to your desired taste.almost completely dark is best .

you would be better off if you had a strainer, boil the water in a kettle first put about three tbsp of coffee in the strainer use the strainer over a container that is suited for its size a tea pot will do pour the boiled water over the grounds it may take you a little while for 3 tbps you should use about 12cups of water
