Broke within a couple months
Definite no go. Just stopped working about 2.5 months after purchase. Was used lightly. A complete was of space and money.

Good unit, tricky to take out
I ordered this as a replacement for a broken one that came installed in an RV. The unit in the RV didn’t survive two summers worth of parked-in-the-sun heat.

I bought this coffee maker for my parents. They have had another Black & Decker space saver model for many years and love it. When they tried this one out, the part that holds the filter came sliding out and the coffee stopped brewing. In order to get it to work they had to tape it closed. My mother called the customer service number and was unable to speak to a human being. She left a message as instructed. They said someone would contact her within 24 hours, but she never received a call back. After a couple of weeks of waiting for a replacement part, she called back again. Still no human contact, but the part did arrive shortly there after. It works a little better. She is still not sure she is going to keep the coffee maker though because there are other things she does not like which were available on her earlier model. This one does not turn off after two hours and the indicator that it is on is very small and hard to see. I would not recommend this product.

Black & Decker Space saver coffe maker
I have a white space maker that is probably 6 years old –It worked but I wanted to replace it with a black one. Purchased it through Amazon.com and it arrived.

Still Junk
These units have a life expectency of about 18-24 months and then they simply stop working. This is our 5th one. Why buy one knowing how bad they are?

This product turned out to be a huge disappointment for us. It stops perking part way through the process. We are forced to restart the mechanism serveral times in order to make a full pot of coffee. Apparently, the heat sensitive component in the circuit is failing. It is gettting progressively worse with each use. Black & Decker needs to bring back the original spacemaker, which was a much better product.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COFFEE MAKER !

Very disappointed
I’ve been bugging my husband for 6 months to install my ODC440 below my brand new cabinets in my brand new house. Am sooooo glad we didn’t.

Don’t buy this product I repeat DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!I wouldn’t even call it a coffe maker. They leak, condensation drips down,circuit board burns out due to condensation…

Exactly the right size and color - But impossible to brew coffee without the coffee brewer tray sliding out and 1. stopping the brewing, and 2. Causing backup in the brewer basket and resulting in about one third of the coffee spilling out of the unit creating a hot dangerous mess. The only way I have found to prevent this is to either stand there and hold the basket in or try and tape it closed. Not a good situation, and an obvious design flaw which should have been discovered prior to marketing the unit

Worthless
Had purchased this as replacement of excellent B&D undercounter coffee maker. Problems began on second day when the ‘filter’ drawer slid out ever so slightly.

Quality has declined
I originally bought a Spacemaker coffee maker over 15 years ago. It was the kind with an analog clock/timer.
