It just seems a shame to throw out our used coffee grounds every day, along with eggshells. Seems like there ought to be a use for them?

    Go easy on the coffee grounds—they tend to acidify the soil, which isn’t good for some of the Mediterranean herbs.

    Yes they are I know egg shells definitly. saw it on Bernstein Bears. that’s where i heard it at. coffee grounds i’m sure are good too. i use them. Hasn’t hurt anything. i even threw my coffee in plants from time to time/.

    If you pour vinegar on eggshels in a plastic bag
    It turns to lime
    Science experiment
    Just don’t feed either one to pigs
    I’ve been told
    Don’t know why not though

    Make a compost pile and add them. Coffee grinds are good for acid loving plants.
